The LEUZE ODSL96K/V66.1 - 2300 - S12 is a high - performance optical distance sensor. It uses a laser diode as its light source, emitting red light for accurate object detection. With a measurement range spanning from 150 to 2300 mm, it can precisely determine the distance to objects. The sensor offers a geometric resolution of 1.0 to 5.0 mm and an accuracy of 3% within this range. Its measurement time is relatively short, between 2 to 7 ms, enabling rapid data acquisition. This makes it suitable for applications where precise distance measurement is crucial, such as in automated machinery for positioning tasks.​

This sensor features a durable and compact design. Its housing is made of plastic (PC), providing protection against mechanical stress and environmental factors. The lens cover, also made of plastic, ensures clear light transmission. With an IP67 protection rating, it is dust - tight and can withstand water immersion, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. Measuring 30 mm in width, 90 mm in height, and 70 mm in length, it has a cuboid shape that allows for easy installation in various industrial setups.
